I'm selling these on my etsy store at <a href="http://craftedbyerin.etsy.com/">http://craftedbyerin.etsy.com</a> I love the fact that they're versatile. If wearing it as a hair clip gets old you can pin it to your purse. Bring on the FUN!<br />

My etsy store has been taking a lot of time, but for the most part I have been a little down. I get overwhelmed sometimes and get frustrated with myself. I really hate feeling down especially when I am so blessed. I love my family and have so much to be thankful for, so feeling down it not right. There is a pile of projects that are waiting for me and all I do is just stare at them. I know that I will get over it and tackle on these projects. So until I make some new stuff to tell you about I will show you some stuff that is on my etsy store at <a href="http://craftedbyerin.etsy.com/">http://craftedbyerin.etsy.com</a><br />

To catch everyone up I just started by Crafted by Erin Etsy store at <a href="http://craftedbyerin.etsy.com/">http://craftedbyerin.etsy.com</a>. There's about 35 items up for sale. I decided to not list everything yet because some are seasonal crafts for Christmas and Halloween. Does anyone buy seasonal items when the season is months and months away?<br />
<br />
I am still job searching and keeping my fingers crossed to be asked to interview. Job hunting is very discouraging and frustrating. It is especially frustrating when so much rides on it.<br />
<br />
My children are doing great and continue to bring me joy. My professor from college told me that educated people are less likely to have children versus lower income people because lower income people want their children to take care of them when they're older. I'm certainly not wealthy, I am educated, and slightly lower income, but I wanted children because they bring me JOY, not because I want to be taken care of. I feel just the opposite. It is my job to take care of them, and make sure they have the right tools to be happy in this life. Whew, sorry if that goes to far into the subject. I just wanted to say that I love my children and couldn't be happier.<br />
<br />
To close, keep your fingers crossed for a job to land in my lap. I pray everyday for such a miracle.<br />
<br />
Until next time,<br />

<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: "Helvetica Neue",Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><span style="color: #20124d;">This is a tutorial for upcycling some worn out jeans from my girls. I had this pile of jeans that had holes in the knees, but held a special attachment to my heart. </span><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="color: #20124d; font-size: large;">The jeans these days are really cute with awesome details. For this clutch I used my daughters size 8 jeans with jewel details and really cute embroidery along the pockets. </span></span></span></span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><br />
<div style="color: #20124d;">The clutch is fully lined and I added a wrist handle. A zipper is used to close the clutch. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_3N07IdS4vAY/TTnGi3-EQYI/AAAAAAAAAEY/tC4sEXwEaqs/s1600/002.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_3N07IdS4vAY/TTnGi3-EQYI/AAAAAAAAAEY/tC4sEXwEaqs/s400/002.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><span style="color: #20124d;">I used the same fabric for the lining as the wrist band. </span><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="color: #20124d;">Have Fun! Here's the tutorial to make your own memories with a Mother's Clutch. </span></span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="background-color: cyan;">1. </span><span style="font-size: small;">First cut out the back section of the jeans you want to use. You will have to use a seam ripper to detach the belt loops. This cut piece will be your pattern shape for the lining and back piece. </span></span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_3N07IdS4vAY/TTnHt6co9NI/AAAAAAAAAEc/6Ovp8x_AF5A/s1600/004.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_3N07IdS4vAY/TTnHt6co9NI/AAAAAAAAAEc/6Ovp8x_AF5A/s400/004.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="background-color: cyan;"> </span><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="background-color: cyan;">2.</span> <span style="font-size: small;">The next step is to take the front piece (which is really the backside of the jeans) and use it to cut the back piece. </span></span></span> </span>For this piece I opened up the leg of the jeans and cut out the pattern. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_3N07IdS4vAY/TTnHw88ttAI/AAAAAAAAAEg/NMevxroj7iM/s1600/005.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_3N07IdS4vAY/TTnHw88ttAI/AAAAAAAAAEg/NMevxroj7iM/s320/005.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="background-color: cyan;">3.</span> <span style="font-size: small;">Now cut out two pieces of fabric for the lining. I used some colorful scrap fabric for the lining. Make sure you have enough for two pieces and the wrist handle. </span></span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_3N07IdS4vAY/TTnHzd7w1CI/AAAAAAAAAEk/z37gqiCWtwQ/s1600/006.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_3N07IdS4vAY/TTnHzd7w1CI/AAAAAAAAAEk/z37gqiCWtwQ/s320/006.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-size: small;"> </span><span style="background-color: cyan;">4.</span> <span style="font-size: small;">Now take your front piece and pin on the zipper. I used a 14 inch length of white zipper for this clutch. I buy them bigger because I never know what size I will make the clutches. It's very easy to cut of the excess. Pin the zipper on with the wrong size of zipper OUT. The rights sides of the zipper and the jeans should be facing each other. </span></span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_3N07IdS4vAY/TTnJG1F8-9I/AAAAAAAAAEo/gbyev2QH7Y0/s1600/008.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_3N07IdS4vAY/TTnJG1F8-9I/AAAAAAAAAEo/gbyev2QH7Y0/s400/008.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="background-color: cyan;">5. </span> <span style="font-size: small;">Stitch the zipper to front using a 1/4" seam. </span></span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_3N07IdS4vAY/TTnJl2u-4uI/AAAAAAAAAEs/3PDpiCRCy_A/s1600/009.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_3N07IdS4vAY/TTnJl2u-4uI/AAAAAAAAAEs/3PDpiCRCy_A/s400/009.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-size: small;"> </span><span style="background-color: cyan;">6.</span> <span style="font-size: small;">The next part is pinning the lining to the zipper. The right side of lining fabric should face the right side of jeans. </span></span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_3N07IdS4vAY/TTnJ8oKWcSI/AAAAAAAAAEw/JUTv_BCS1QY/s1600/010.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_3N07IdS4vAY/TTnJ8oKWcSI/AAAAAAAAAEw/JUTv_BCS1QY/s400/010.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-size: small;"> </span><span style="background-color: cyan;">7. </span> <span style="font-size: small;">Stitch the lining using a 1/4" seam. </span></span><br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_3N07IdS4vAY/TTnKnHhAjYI/AAAAAAAAAE4/tSIr1-UQGPA/s1600/012.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_3N07IdS4vAY/TTnKnHhAjYI/AAAAAAAAAE4/tSIr1-UQGPA/s400/012.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="background-color: cyan;">8</span>. <span style="font-size: small;">Pin the back side of jeans to the zipper. <div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_3N07IdS4vAY/TTnL3br2d4I/AAAAAAAAAFI/Mpk3_7ozXlo/s1600/016.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_3N07IdS4vAY/TTnL3br2d4I/AAAAAAAAAFI/Mpk3_7ozXlo/s400/016.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="background-color: cyan;">12.</span> <span style="font-size: small;">The next step is to construct the wrist band. Cut out a piece of fabric that is about 3" wide by 11" long. Iron or sew interfacing to the wrong side of fabric. Next, fold the fabric with the right sides together lengthwise. Stitch, then turn the fabric right side out. I really dislike this part of the operation:(. Once the fabric is turned iron it flat with the seam in the middle. You are now ready to attach the band to the clutch. </span></span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_3N07IdS4vAY/TTnM0lgm_vI/AAAAAAAAAFM/C5kyRrmHt0U/s1600/003.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_3N07IdS4vAY/TTnM0lgm_vI/AAAAAAAAAFM/C5kyRrmHt0U/s400/003.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="background-color: cyan;">13. </span> <span style="font-size: small;">Pin or baste stitch the folded band to the clutch. See picture below for placement of band. </span></span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_3N07IdS4vAY/TTnNfuv1p6I/AAAAAAAAAFQ/su4K-xW___s/s1600/017.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_3N07IdS4vAY/TTnNfuv1p6I/AAAAAAAAAFQ/su4K-xW___s/s400/017.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-size: small;"> </span><span style="background-color: cyan;">14.</span> </span><span style="font-size: small;">Now the fun part of sewing the clutch. Line up the jeans fabric together with right sides together and the lining fabric right sides together. Pin it together. When pining the lining together leave about 4" of opening at the bottom of lining for turning the clutch out at the end. </span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_3N07IdS4vAY/TTnN5TDvxBI/AAAAAAAAAFU/MfHLtijlm_c/s1600/018.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_3N07IdS4vAY/TTnN5TDvxBI/AAAAAAAAAFU/MfHLtijlm_c/s400/018.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><span style="background-color: cyan; font-size: small;"> </span><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="background-color: cyan;">15.</span> <span style="font-size: small;">Stitch the enter clutch together using a 1/4" seam. Don't forget to leave an opening in bottom of lining to turn the purse out through. </span></span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_3N07IdS4vAY/TTnOXeKchII/AAAAAAAAAFY/dDGr64v4fqo/s1600/019.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_3N07IdS4vAY/TTnOXeKchII/AAAAAAAAAFY/dDGr64v4fqo/s400/019.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-size: small;"> </span><span style="background-color: cyan;">16.</span> <span style="font-size: small;">After the sewing is done reach through the lining and pull the clutch through the hole. Another suggestion is to leave the zipper open half way. It's a real pain to try to pull the clutch through the hole only to get stuck when the zipper is closed all the way. </span></span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_3N07IdS4vAY/TTnO7i_TtkI/AAAAAAAAAFc/4lTMpvS98k0/s1600/020.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_3N07IdS4vAY/TTnO7i_TtkI/AAAAAAAAAFc/4lTMpvS98k0/s400/020.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="background-color: cyan; font-size: small;"> </span><span style="background-color: cyan;">17.</span> <span style="font-size: small;">Almost done with the sewing. My husband and I are currently unemployed. The job search has been a struggle and a disappointment. I was denied unemployment because of attending college, so we have been living on my husband's unemployment. There is one job opening at the local bank and I applied to this position. Cross my fingers that this job comes through. <br />
<br />
I have so much to be thankful for and know that God has looked out for us. I truly believe that He will work this out and we will have jobs soon. My blessings are enormous. We have two great girls that are in elementary school, participating in Upward basketball ( we are so proud), their church Discipleland night, and excel in school. We have good health and a roof over our heads. <br />
<br />
I pray that the economy will turn around, and especially the housing market. I hope you are all happy and look to your own blessings in life. Here's some uses for <span style="font-size: large;"><b>baking soda</b></span> that you might not have considered. <br />
<ol><li>Facial exfoliator. Make a paste with water and scrub face to remove dead skin cells.</li>
<li>Zit buster. Make a thick paste and apply to zit overnight and wash it off in the morning. </li>
<li>Carpet freshener. Instead of spending money on over-priced scented products, sprinkle baking soda to carpet, let is set for awhile and then vacuum up.</li>
<li>Surface scrubber. Use instead of brand name soft scrubs. Make a paste and scrub the surfaces. Rinse well.</li>
<li>Puts out little fires. Throw baking soda on a small fire to put it out. </li>
</ol>There are literally dozens of uses for <span style="font-size: large;">baking soda</span>. I am a big fan of the facial exfoliator. I try to exfoliate at least once a week. Dry, flaky skin is a part of this winter season, but if you exfoliate and moisturize afterward your skin will look and feel better!Crafted by Erinhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17120296278658346922noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4675435505393861963.post-76393684160772200802011-01-13T15:16:00.001-05:002011-01-17T09:47:03.834-05:00My craft challenge - The Circle Skirt-Done!I made the deadline. Making the pattern was very simple. I then laid out my fabric and cut out the pattern. Once the fabric was cut out, I tried and failed to get the sewing machine to do a zig zag or hem. The material was too slinky and no matter what pressure I used for the settings the machine would not work. So...I sewed the hem by hand. It took awhile:) I didn't have the chance to buy elastic yet. There are no fabric stores in my town anymore, so a trip to Lansing is in order. Who knows when I will make the trip, but I am anxious to get it done. My girls are excited for their skirts too. The fabric I had wasn't big enough so I need to purchase their fabric too.<br />

The feeling of accomplishment I get after completing a project is exciting. To add excitement I will try a different project each week. To start this week's project I am trying the Circle Skirt from Made.<br />

I have some fabric already picked out from a previous shopping trip, but need to buy the elastic for the waistband. This project is very exciting for me. I will post about my progress and hopefully finish this by next Thursday.<br />

She wanted a Blue and Yellow room. At my last trip to Goodwill I saw this sweater that was bright yellow. It reminded me of Charlie Brown, so I thought using it for a pillow would be easy. By the way, I can't knit very well. The only knitting I can do is the basic pattern of a scarf. So using a sweater was the only way to go. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_3N07IdS4vAY/TSNBFAuK8cI/AAAAAAAAABo/7ePoxzEiuqA/s1600/pillow_1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_3N07IdS4vAY/TSNBFAuK8cI/AAAAAAAAABo/7ePoxzEiuqA/s320/pillow_1.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>The first step is to cut out the size of the pillow from the front and back of the sweater. You can make it a square or rectangle. Just make sure the size is the same for both sides. Place the right sides together (the sides you want showing) and sew together. Make sure to leave an opening at the bottom for a pillow insert to go.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_3N07IdS4vAY/TSNBxvY0wnI/AAAAAAAAABs/_8PUmLNROeU/s1600/pillow_before.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_3N07IdS4vAY/TSNBxvY0wnI/AAAAAAAAABs/_8PUmLNROeU/s320/pillow_before.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>The pillow insert is a little smaller to make it easy to put together. I made this pillow insert by using a dust mite allergy cover and stuffing. I purchased a twin sized allergy cover from Wal-Mart and have used it to make all my decorative pillows. I like knowing that when the pillow covering gets dirty it can be washed. The allergy cover can be surface washed as needed.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_3N07IdS4vAY/TSNCm2zmwUI/AAAAAAAAABw/JldHWvqB9QI/s1600/pillow_3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_3N07IdS4vAY/TSNCm2zmwUI/AAAAAAAAABw/JldHWvqB9QI/s320/pillow_3.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>To finish, put the insert inside the pillow and you are done.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_3N07IdS4vAY/TSNAbKHf_JI/AAAAAAAAABk/OKmUXcg2rG0/s1600/knit_pillow.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_3N07IdS4vAY/TSNAbKHf_JI/AAAAAAAAABk/OKmUXcg2rG0/s320/knit_pillow.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>Completed pillow. They are made from silk ties. If your husband has some ties that he doesn't like use those, or go to a thrift store and buy some. I bought 4 different ties at Goodwill in the As Is section for $0.25 a piece. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_3N07IdS4vAY/TSM9ivk3YaI/AAAAAAAAABQ/Ch0Pwclpgi0/s1600/flowers_cut.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_3N07IdS4vAY/TSM9ivk3YaI/AAAAAAAAABQ/Ch0Pwclpgi0/s320/flowers_cut.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>The first step is to cut out the shapes of flowers. This does not have to be perfect. In fact, I rarely use a pattern. I usually sit in front of the TV and cut away. Cut small and medium sized flowers from each tie. The small size is roughly 3 inches, while the medium sized is 6 inches.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_3N07IdS4vAY/TSM-LgWgjsI/AAAAAAAAABU/A9KOI7F6pDA/s1600/flower_back.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_3N07IdS4vAY/TSM-LgWgjsI/AAAAAAAAABU/A9KOI7F6pDA/s320/flower_back.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>Once the small and medium sized pieces are cut you gather the center together loosely. Every petal is gathered in the center and then tied off. Next, you take a medium piece with a different medium piece, and finally a small piece. Mix and match the colors for variety. After you have the colors you like, sew them together with a needle and thread. The picture above shows you how to sew a hair clip to the back side of the flower.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_3N07IdS4vAY/TSM_CzLxM8I/AAAAAAAAABY/xbKIPOobKc4/s1600/flowers_completed.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="315" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_3N07IdS4vAY/TSM_CzLxM8I/AAAAAAAAABY/xbKIPOobKc4/s320/flowers_completed.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>For more detail add glass or acrylic beads to the center of the fronts. Use an odd number of beads for each flower. Even numbers look silly.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_3N07IdS4vAY/TSM_ZONeaRI/AAAAAAAAABc/w9EG4vuz2A0/s1600/flowers_pinned.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_3N07IdS4vAY/TSM_ZONeaRI/AAAAAAAAABc/w9EG4vuz2A0/s320/flowers_pinned.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>You can also attach a pin to the back of the flower to pin to a blouse.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_3N07IdS4vAY/TSM_l2N2VrI/AAAAAAAAABg/3q7UpT-h0g8/s1600/headband.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="237" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_3N07IdS4vAY/TSM_l2N2VrI/AAAAAAAAABg/3q7UpT-h0g8/s320/headband.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>Clip it to a headband. Clip it to an invitation. Use your imagination and have fun! Safety. Today's commercial soaps are full of synthetic detergents, petrochemicals, and artificial preservatives. They are known to clog your pores and dry out your skin. Diethanolamine (DEA), Propylene Glycol (PG), Sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS), or Sodium laureth sulfate (SLES), Ammonium laureth sulfate, and Ammonium lauryl sulfate are often found in shampoos, body washes and soap bars. Research has shown that repeated use of DEA increases the risk of cancer. PG is the main toxic ingredient in industrial<b> antifreez</b>e. It causes skin irritations and dryness, kidney and liver abnormalities, dermitis, and rashes. SLS is a cheap detergent that is only tolerable because is comes in contact with the scalp for only a few minutes and is diluted with water. SLES is used in <b>engine degreasers</b> and in<b> concrete cleansers</b>. <br />

Crafted by Erin makes chemical free bath products that have no synthetic detergents, dyes, or fragrances. All my soaps are made the old fashioned way using lye (sodium hydroxide). You probably think that lye is a chemical, but once it is mixed with the oils saponification occurs and it is neutralized and no longer lye. The basic oils used to make my soap are olive oil, coconut oil, palm oil, and castor oil. The only scent additive used is essential oils, no fragrance oils.<br />

There are many websites out there to educate yourself on the chemicals used in today's commercial products. The website I used for my research was <a href="http://www.healthy-communications.com/slsalert.html">http://www.healthy-communications.com/slsalert.html</a>.<br />

Buy some distilled water, a small spray bottle and any scented oils you like. You can also use vanilla extract for scent. The great thing about using homemade room sprays is knowing that it contains NO chemical additives. Studies have shown that the chemicals used in commercial sprays coat your nasal passages. At my website I sell three different scents. Deodorizing, Orange Spice, and Pet Deodorizing. If for any reason you don't want to make your own I will gladly sell you mine:) You can visit my site at <a href="http://ajmclain.com/cbe.html">http://ajmclain.com/cbe.html</a>. I would love to hear your ideas on cheap and easy products or solutions. <br />
